Genesis 1:1-31

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep and the Spirit of God fluttered upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good. And God divided the light from the darkness. 5 And God called the light Day and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day.
6 And God said, Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7 And God made the expanse and divided the waters which were under the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse. And it was so. 8 And God called the expanse Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day.
9 And God said, Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together to one place and let the dry land appear. And it was so. 10 And God called the dry land Earth and he called the gathering together of the waters Seas. And God saw that it was good.
11 And God said, Let the earth put forth grass, herbs yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit (which has seed in it) according to their kind upon the earth. And it was so.
12 And the earth brought out grass, herbs yielding seed according to their kind and trees bearing fruit (which has seed in it), according to their kind. And God saw that it was good. 13 And there was evening and there was morning, a third day.
14 And God said, Let there be lights in the expanse of heaven to divide the day from the night and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years. 15 And let them be for lights in the expanse of heaven to give light upon the earth. And it was so.
16 And God made the two great lights, the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night and also the stars. 17 And God set them in the expanse of heaven to give light upon the earth, 18 and to rule over the day and over the night and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening and there was morning, a fourth day.
20 And God said, Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of heaven. 21 And God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought out abundantly, according to their kind and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas and let birds multiply on the earth. 23 And there was evening and there was morning, a fifth day.
24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kind: cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kind. And it was so.
25 And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kind and the cattle according to their kind and everything that creeps upon the ground according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
26 And God said, Let Us make man in our image–after our likeness–and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the cattle, and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. 27 And God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; he created them male and female.
28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and have power over it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.
29 And God said, Behold, I have given you* every herb yielding seed, which is upon the face of all the earth and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed. To you* it will be for food, 30 and to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps upon the earth in which there is life and to you * every green herb, for food. And it was so.
31 And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

Proverbs 28:6

6 Better is the poor man who walks in his integrity, than he who is perverse in his ways, though he is rich.

Matthew 18:1-35

1 The disciples came to Jesus in that hour, saying, Who then is greater in the kingdom of the heavens?
2 And Jesus, having called to him a child, stood it in the midst of them, 3 and said, Assuredly I am saying to you, If you do not turn and become like little children, you may never enter into the kingdom of the heavens. 4 Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this little child, this one is the greater one in the kingdom of the heavens. 5 And whoever accepts one such child in my name, accepts me. 6 But whoever offends one of these little ones who believes in me, it is more advantageous for him that a millstone, the ones rotated by a donkey, should be hung at his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depths of the sea.
7 Woe to the world from the coming offenses! For it is a necessity for the offenses to come; however, woe to that man through whom the offense comes! 8 Now if your hand or your foot is offending you, cut both of them off and cast them from you. It is good for you to enter into life lame or crippled, rather than to be cast into the everlasting fire, having two hands or two feet. 9 And if your eye is offending you, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is good for you to enter into life one-eyed, rather than having two eyes, and to be cast into the hell of fire.
10 See that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I say to you, that in the heavens their messengers are always looking at the face of my Father who is in the heavens. 11 For the Son of Man came to save what has been lost.

{Similar: Mat 18:12-14, Luk 15:3-7}
12 What are you thinking? If there should happen to be any man who has a hundred sheep, and one out of them might be misled, does he not leave the ninety nine and travel on the mountains, and seek the one which is misled? 13 And if he happens to find it, assuredly I am saying to you, He rejoices over it more than over the ninety nine which have not been misled. 14 So it is also not the will before your Father who is in the heavens, that one of these little ones should perish.

15 Now if your brother sins against you, go and reprove him, the sin is between you and him only; if he hears you, you have gained your brother. 16 But if he does not hear you, take with you one or two more, in order that, ‘at the mouth of two or three witnesses every declaration should be established.’ 17 But if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the congregation, and if he also refuses to hear the congregation, let him be just-like the Gentile and the tax collector to you.
18 Assuredly, I am saying to you again, As many things as you may bind upon the earth will have already been bound in heaven, and as many things as you may loose upon earth will have already been loosed in heaven. 19 Assuredly I say to you again, that if two of you agree together upon the earth concerning any matter, whatever they ask, it will happen for them from my Father who is in the heavens. 20 For where two or three have been gathered together in my name, I am there in the midst of them.
21 Then Peter came near to him and said, Lord, how-often will my brother sin against me and I forgive him? Until seven-times?
22 Jesus says to him, I do not say to you, Until seven times, but, until seventy-times seven-times. 23 Because of this, the kingdom of the heavens has been similar to a certain king who wished to settle the account with his bondservants. 24 Now having begun to settle the account, one man was brought to him, a debtor of ten-thousand silver talants . 25 But he did not have anything to repay him with, so his lord commanded him and his wife and children and all things, as many things as he was holding, to be sold and the money to be repaid to him.
26 Therefore the bondservant falling down, was worshiping him, saying, Lord, have patience upon me, and I will be repaying all of it to you. 27 But the lord of that bondservant, having compassion on him, released him and forgave him the loan.
28 But that bondservant went out and found one of his fellow bondservants who owed him a hundred denarii, and he took-hold of him, and was choking him, saying, Repay if you are owing me anything.
29 Therefore his fellow bondservant, falling down at his feet, was pleading with him, saying, Have patience upon me and I will be repaying you. 30 But he did not wish to, but went and cast him into prison, until he should repay what is owed. 31 But his fellow bondservants, having seen the things which had happened, were extremely sorrowful. And they came to their own lord, and they told all the things which had happened.
32 Then his lord called him, and says to him, You evil bondservant, I forgave you all that debt, since you pleaded with me. 33 It was essential for you to have shown-mercy also on your fellow bondservant, like I also had shown-mercy to you. 34 And his lord, was angry and gave him to the torturers until he should repay everything which is owed to him. 35 So my heavenly Father will also be doing to you, if each of you does not forgive his brother his trespasses from your hearts.

Romans 10:10

10 for it is believed in the heart toward righteousness and it is confessed with the mouth toward salvation.

Ephesians 5:15-16

15 Therefore beware, how accurately you are walking, not as unwise, but as wise; 16 buying up the time, because the days are evil.

Proverbs 2:7

7 He lays up sound-wisdom for the upright, a shield to those who walk in integrity,

1 Corinthians 11:1-34

1 Become imitators of me, just-as I also am of Christ.
2 Now I praise you brethren that you have remembered me in all things and are holding-onto the traditions, just-as I gave them to you. 3 But I wish you to know, that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of the Christ is God. 4 Every man praying or prophesying, having something on his head, shames his head. 5 But every woman praying or prophesying with the head unveiled shames her head; for it is one and the same thing, as if she had been shaved. 6 For if a woman is not veiling herself, let her hair also be sheared, but if it is shameful to a woman to be sheared or shaved, let her be veiled. 7 For a man indeed ought not to have his head veiled, being that he is the image and glory of God, but woman is the glory of the man. 8 For the man is not from the woman, but the woman is from the man; 9 for neither was the man created because of the woman, but the woman because of the man. 10 The woman ought to have a sign of authority upon her head because of this and because of the messengers. 11 However, neither is the man separate from the woman, nor the woman separate from the man, in the Lord. 12 For just-like the woman is from the man, so the man is also through the woman, but all things are from God. 13 Judge among you yourselves. Is it suitable that a woman pray to God unveiled? 14 Or is not even nature itself teaching you, that, if a man indeed has long-hair, it is a dishonor to him? 15 But if a woman has long-hair, it is a glory to her, because her hair has been given to her instead of a head dressing. 16 But if anyone seems to be contentious, we have no such custom, nor the congregations of God.
17 But in commanding this, I am not praising you, because you are not coming together for the best but for the worst. 18 For indeed, first of all, when you are coming together in the congregation, I am hearing that splits exist in you, and I believe some part of it. \ulnone\nosupersub 19 For it is essential for sects to be also among you, in order that those who are the approved ones may become apparent among you. 20 Therefore, while coming together in the same place, it is not possible to eat the Lord’s supper; 21 for while you are eating, each one is taking his own supper before others can, and one is hungry and another is drunken. 22 For do you not have houses that you should eat and drink in? Or do you despise the congregation of God and are shaming those who have nothing? What should I say to you? Should I praise you? I should not praise you in this.

23 For I received from the Lord what I also gave to you, that the Lord Jesus in the night in which he was being given up, took bread; 24 and having given-thanks, he broke it and said, Take, eat. This is my body, which is being broken on your behalf. Practice this in my remembrance. 25 Likewise also the cup, after the supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Practice this in my remembrance whenever you drink it. 26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you are proclaiming the Lord’s death till whenever he comes.
27 So-then whoever eats this bread or drinks the cup of the Lord, unworthily of the Lord, will be liable to the body and of the blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man test himself and so let him eat from the bread and let him drink out of the cup. 29 For he who unworthily eats and drinks, is eating and drinking condemnation to himself, if he is not discerning the body of the Lord.
30 Because of this, many among you are weak and sick and a considerable number fall-asleep. 31 For if we were discerning ourselves, we would not be judged. 32 But being judged, we are disciplined by the Lord, in order that we should not be condemned together with the world. 33 So-then my brethren, when you come together to eat, wait for one another. 34 But if anyone is hungry, let him eat in his own house; in order that you may not come together for condemnation. Now I will be commanding accordingly the rest as to whenever I come.

1 Corinthians 14:1-40

1 Pursue love; but yet be zealous for spiritual gifts, but rather in order that you may prophesy. 2 For he who speaks in a foreign language does not speak to men, but to God; for no one hears with understanding, but he speaks mysteries in the spirit. 3 But he who prophesies speaks to men for building up and encouragement and consolation. 4 He who speaks in a foreign language builds himself up, but he who prophesies builds up the congregation. 5 Now I wish for all of you to speak with foreign languages, but more in order that you may prophesy, for greater is he who prophesies than he who speaks with foreign languages, unless he translates, in order that the congregation may receive building up.
6 But brethren, now if I come to you speaking in foreign languages, what will I profit you, if I do not speak to you either in revelation or in knowledge or in prophesying or in teaching? 7 Even the lifeless things give forth a voice, whether flute or harp, if they do not give a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped? 8 For if the trumpet also gives an indistinct voice, who will prepare himself for war? 9 So you also, if you do not give distinct speech through the foreign language, how shall it be known what is spoken? For you will be speaking to air. 10 If the varieties of foreign voices in the world are so-many, as it may be, and yet none are unintelligible. 11 Therefore if I do not know the power of the voice, I will be a barbarian to the one who speaks with it, and he who speaks will be a barbarian to me. 12 So you also, since you are zealous ones of spiritual gifts, seek in order that you may abound to the building up of the congregation. 13 Hence let the one who speaks in a foreign language pray in order that he may translate.
14 For if I pray in a foreign language, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful. 15 Therefore what is it? I will pray with the spirit and I will also pray with the mind. I will sing-praise with the spirit and I will also sing-praise with the mind. 16 Otherwise if you give-thanks with the spirit, how will he who fills the place of the unskilled say the amen upon your thanksgiving, since he does not know what you are saying? 17 For you indeed give-thanks well, but the other is not built up. 18 I give-thanks to my God, I speak with foreign languages more than all of you. 19 But in the congregation, I wish to speak five words through my mind in order that I might also instruct others, than ten thousand words in a foreign language.
20 Brethren, do not become children in your mindsets, (but be infants in malice), but become mature in your mindsets. 21 It has been written in the law, ‘I will be speaking to this people in different languages and by other lips, and thus they will not even hear me, says the Lord.’ 22 So-then foreign languages are for a sign, not to those who believe, but to the unbelieving, but prophesying is for a sign, not to the unbelieving, but to those who believe. 23 Therefore, if the whole congregation comes together in the same place, and if all speak with foreign languages, and if unskilled or unbelieving people come in, will they not be saying that you are insane? 24 But if all prophesy and some unbelieving or unskilled person comes in, he is reproved by all. He is judged by all. 25 And thus, the secret things of his heart become apparent, and so, when he has fallen down upon his face, he will be worshiping God, reporting that God really is among you.
26 Therefore brethren, what is it? Whenever you come together, each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a foreign language, has a translation. Let all things happen for the building up. 27 If anyone speaks in a foreign language, let it be according to two or three at the most and individually, and let one translate. 28 But if there is no translator, let him be silent in the congregation, and let him speak to himself and to God. 29 But let the prophets speak by two or three and let the others discern. 30 But if a prophesy is revealed to another sitting by, let the first be silent. 31 For all of you are able to prophesy, one by one, in order that all may learn and all might be encouraged. 32 The spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets; 33 for God is not a God of unrest, but of peace.
As in all the congregations of the holy-ones: 34 let your women be silent in the congregations; for it has not permitted for them to speak, but to be subject, just-as the law also says. 35 And if they wish to learn anything, let them ask their own husbands in their own house; for it is shameful for women to speak in a congregation. 36 What? Was it from you that the word of God went forth? Or did it arrive only for you?
37 If anyone thinks himself to be a prophet or spiritual, let him fully know what I write to you, that they are the commandments from the Lord. 38 But if anyone is ignorant, let him be ignorant.
39 So-then brethren, be zealous to prophesy and do not forbid people to speak with foreign languages. 40 But let all things happen decently and according to some order.

1 John 1:7

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son is cleansing us from every sin.

Job 1:1-22

1 There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job and that man was perfect and upright and one who feared God and turned away from evil. 2 And there were born to him seven sons and three daughters.
3 His substance also was seven thousand sheep and three thousand camels and five hundred yoke of oxen and five hundred female-donkeys and a very great household, so that this man was the greatest of all the sons of the east.
4 And his sons went and held a feast in the house of each one upon his day and they sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink with them. 5 And it was so, when the days of their feasting were completed, that Job sent and made them holy and rose up early in the morning and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned and renounced God in their hearts. Thus Job did continually.
6 Now it happened on the day when the sons of God came to present themselves before Jehovah, that Satan also came among them. 7 And Jehovah said to Satan, From where do you come? Then Satan answered Jehovah and said, From going to and fro on the earth and from walking up and down on it. 8 And Jehovah said to Satan, Have you considered my servant Job? For there is none like him on the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one who fears God and turns away from evil. 9 Then Satan answered Jehovah and said, Does Job fear God for nothing? 10 Have you not made a hedge on every side on behalf of him and his house and all that he has? You have blessed the work of his hands and his substance is increased in the land. 11 But put forth your hand now and touch all that he has and he will renounce you to your face. 12 And Jehovah said to Satan, Behold, all that he has is in your power, only upon himself do not put forth your hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of Jehovah.
13 And it fell on a day when his sons and his daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house, 14 that there came a messenger to Job and said, The oxen were plowing and the donkeys feeding beside them, 15 and the Sabeans fell upon them and took them away. Yes, they have slain the servants with the edge of the sword and only I alone have escaped to tell you.
16 While he was yet speaking, there came also another and said, The fire of God fell from heaven and has burned up the sheep and the servants and consumed them and only I alone have escaped to tell you.
17 While he was yet speaking, there came also another and said, The Chaldeans made three bands and fell upon the camels and have taken them away, yes and slain the servants with the edge of the sword and only I alone have escaped to tell you.
18 While he was yet speaking, there came also another and said, Your sons and your daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house. 19 And behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness and killed* the four corners of the house and it fell upon the young men and they are dead and only I alone have escaped to tell you.
20 Then Job arose and tore his robe and shaved his head and fell down upon the ground and worshiped. 21 And he said, Naked I came out of my mother's womb and naked I will return there. Jehovah gave and Jehovah has taken away, praise the name of Jehovah. 22 In all this Job did not sin, nor give any foolishness to God.

Psalms 119:1-176

1 Those who are perfect in the way, who walk in the law of Jehovah are fortunate. 2 Those who keep his testimonies, that seek him with the whole heart are fortunate. 3 Yes, they do no unrighteousness. They walk in his ways. 4 You have commanded your precepts, that we should observe them diligently.
5 O that my ways were established to observe your statutes! 6 Then I will not be put to shame when I have respect for all your commandments. 7 I will give thanks to you with uprightness of heart when I learn your righteous judgments. 8 I will observe your statutes. O forsake me not utterly.
9 With what will a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to your word. 10 I have sought you with my whole heart. O do not let me wander from your commandments. 11 I have laid your word up in my heart that I might not sin against you.
12 Praise you, O Jehovah. Teach me your statutes. 13 I have declared all the ordinances of your mouth with my lips. 14 I have rejoiced in the way of your testimonies as much as in all riches. 15 I will meditate on your precepts and have respect for your ways. 16 I will delight myself in your statutes. I will not forget your word.
17 Deal bountifully with your servant that I may live, so I will observe your word. 18 Open my eyes that I may behold wondrous things out of your law. 19 I am a traveler in the earth. Do not hide your commandments from me. 20 My soul breaks for the longing that it has to your ordinances at all times. 21 You have rebuked the proud, who are cursed, who wander from your commandments.
22 Take away from me reproach and contempt, because I have kept your testimonies. 23 Rulers also sat and talked against me, but your servant meditated on your statutes.
24 Your testimonies also are my delight and my counselors. 25 My soul clings to the dust. Give me life according to your word. 26 I declared my ways and you answered me. Teach me your statutes. 27 Make me to understand the way of your precepts, so I will meditate on your wondrous works.
28 My soul melts for heaviness. Strengthen me according to your word. 29 Remove from me the way of falsehood and grant me your law graciously.
30 I have chosen the way of faithfulness. I have set your ordinances. 31 I cling to your testimonies. O Jehovah, put me not to shame. 32 I will run the way of your commandments because you will enlarge my heart.
33 Teach me, O Jehovah, the way of your statutes and I will keep it to the end. 34 Give me understanding and I will keep your law, yes, I will observe it with my whole heart. 35 Make me to go in the path of your commandments, because I do delight in it. 36 Incline my heart to your testimonies and not to covetousness.
37 Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity and give me life in your ways. 38 Confirm to your servant your word, which is for the fear of you. 39 Turn away my reproach of which I am afraid, because your ordinances are good. 40 Behold, I have longed after your precepts. Give me life in your righteousness.
41 Let your loving kindnesses also come to me, O Jehovah, even your salvation, according to your word. 42 So I will have an answer for him who reproaches me, because I trust in your word.
43 And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, because I have hoped in your ordinances. 44 So shall I observe your law continually everlasting and forever. 45 And I will walk at liberty, because I have sought your precepts.
46 I also will speak of your testimonies before kings and will not be put to shame. 47 And I will delight myself in your commandments, which I have loved. 48 I will also lift up my hands to your commandments, which I have loved and I will meditate on your statutes.
49 Remember the word to your servant, because you have made me to hope. 50 This is my comfort in my affliction, because your word has revived me.
51 The proud scoff at me greatly, yet I have not swerved from your law. 52 I have remembered your everlasting ordinances, O Jehovah and have comforted myself. 53 Hot indignation has taken hold upon me because of the wicked who forsake your law.
54 Your statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage. 55 I have remembered your name, O Jehovah, in the night and have observed your law. 56 I have had this because I have kept your precepts.
57 Jehovah is my portion; I have said that I would observe your words. 58 I entreated your favor with my whole heart. Be merciful to me according to your word. 59 I thought on my ways and turned my feet to your testimonies. 60 I made haste and delayed not, to observe your commandments.
61 The cords of the wicked have wrapped me around, but I have not forgotten your law.
62 At midnight I will rise to give thanks to you because of your righteous ordinances. 63 I am a companion of all those who fear you and of those who observe your precepts.
64 The earth, O Jehovah, is full of your loving kindness. Teach me your statutes. 65 You have dealt well with your servant, O Jehovah, according to your word.
66 Teach me good judgment and knowledge, because I have believed in your commandments.
67 Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I observe your word. 68 You are good and do good. Teach me your statutes.
69 The proud have forged a lie against me. I will keep your precepts with my whole heart. 70 Their heart is like fat like grease, but I delight in your law.
71 It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I may learn your statutes. 72 The law of your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver.
73 Your hands have made me and fashioned me. Give me understanding that I may learn your commandments. 74 Those who fear you will see me and be glad, because I have hoped in your word. 75 I know, O Jehovah, that your judgments are righteous and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.
76 I beseech you, let your loving kindness be for my comfort according to your word to your servant. 77 Let your tender mercies come to me that I may live, because your law is my delight.
78 Let the proud be put to shame, because they have overthrown me wrongfully.
I will meditate on your precepts. 79 Let those who fear you turn to me and they will know your testimonies. 80 Let my heart be perfect in your statutes that I am not put to shame. 81 My soul faints for your salvation. I hope in your word. 82 My eyes fail for your word, while I say, When will you comfort me? 83 Because I have become like a wine-skin in the smoke. Yet I do not forget your statutes.
84 How many are the days of your servant? When will you execute judgment on those who persecute me? 85 The proud have dug pits for me, who are not according to your law. 86 All your commandments are faithful. They persecute me wrongfully. Help me. 87 They had almost consumed me upon earth, but I did not forsake your precepts. 88 Revive me according to your loving kindness, so I will observe the testimony of your mouth.
89 Everlasting, O Jehovah, your word is settled in heaven. 90 Your faithfulness is to all generations. You have established the earth and it abides. 91 They abide this day according to your ordinances, because all things are your servants.
92 Unless your law had been my delight, I should then have perished in my affliction. 93 I will never forget your precepts, because you have given me life with them. 94 I am yours. Save me, because I have sought your precepts. 95 The wicked have waited for me, to destroy me. I will consider your testimonies.
96 I have seen an end of all perfection. Your commandment is exceedingly broad. 97 O how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day.
98 Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies, because they are everlasting with me. 99 I have more understanding than all my teachers, because your testimonies are my meditation. 100 I understand more than the aged because I have kept your precepts.
101 I have restrained my feet from every evil way, that I might observe your word. 102 I have not turned aside from your ordinances, because you have taught me.
103 How sweet are your words to my taste, than honey to my mouth! 104 Through your precepts I get understanding. Therefore I hate every false way.
105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and light to my path. 106 I have sworn and have confirmed it, that I will observe your righteous ordinances.
107 I am afflicted very much. Revive me, O Jehovah, according to your word. 108 I beseech you, accept the free-will offerings of my mouth, O Jehovah and teach me your ordinances. 109 My soul is continually in my hand, yet I do not forget your law. 110 The wicked have laid a snare for me, yet I have not gone-astray from your precepts.
111 I have taken your testimonies as a heritage everlasting, because they are the rejoicing of my heart.
112 I have inclined my heart to perform your everlasting statutes, even to the end.
113 I hate those who are of a double mind, but I love your law. 114 You are my hiding place and my shield. I hope in your word. 115 Depart from me, you* evildoers, that I may keep the commandments of my God.
116 Uphold me according to your word, that I may live and do not let me be ashamed of my hope. 117 Hold me up and I will be safe and will have respect for your statutes continually.
118 You have tossed-aside all those who go astray from your statutes, because their deceit is falsehood. 119 You put away all the wicked of the earth like dross. Therefore I love your testimonies.
120 My flesh trembles for fear of you and I am afraid of your judgments. 121 I have done justice and righteousness. Do not leave me to my oppressors. 122 Be a surety for your servant for good. Do not let the proud oppress me. 123 My eyes fail for your salvation and for your righteous word.
124 Deal with your servant according to your loving kindness and teach me your statutes. 125 I am your servant. Give me understanding, that I may know your testimonies.
126 It is time for Jehovah to work. They have made void your law. 127 Therefore I love your commandments above gold, yes, above fine gold. 128 Therefore I esteem all precepts concerning all things to be right. I hate every false way.
129 Your testimonies are wonderful, therefore my soul keeps them. 130 The opening of your words gives light. It gives understanding to the simple. 131 I opened wide my mouth and panted, because I longed for your commandments.
132 Turn to me and have mercy upon me, as you used to do to those who love your name. 133 Establish my footsteps in your word and do not let any wickedness have dominion over me.
134 Redeem me from the oppression of man, so I will observe your precepts.
135 Make your face to shine upon your servant and teach me your statutes. 136 Streams of water run down my eyes, because they do not observe your law.
137 You are righteous, O Jehovah and upright are your judgments. 138 You have commanded your testimonies in righteousness and exceeding faithfulness.
139 My zeal has consumed me, because my adversaries have forgotten your words. 140 Your word is very pure, therefore your servant loves it. 141 I am small and despised. I do not forget your precepts. 142 Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness and your law is truth. 143 Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me. Your commandments are my delight.
144 Your testimonies are everlasting righteous. Give me understanding and I will live. 145 I have called with my whole heart. Answer me, O Jehovah. I will keep your statutes. 146 I have called to you. Save me and I will observe your testimonies.
147 I anticipated the dawning of the morning and cried. I hoped in your words. 148 My eyes anticipated the night-watches that I might meditate on your word.
149 Hear my voice according to your loving kindness. Give me life, O Jehovah, according to your ordinances.
150 They draw near who follow after wickedness. They are far from your law.
151 You are near, O Jehovah and all your commandments are truth. 152 Of long-ago I have known from your testimonies because you have founded them everlasting.
153 Consider my affliction and deliver me, because I do not forget your law. 154 Plead my cause and redeem me. Give me life according to your word.
155 Salvation is far from the wicked, because they do not seek your statutes.
156 Great are your tender mercies, O Jehovah. Give me life according to your ordinances.
157 Many are my persecutors and my adversaries. I have not swerved from your testimonies. 158 I beheld the treacherous and was grieved because they do not observe your word.
159 Consider when I love your precepts. Give me life, O Jehovah, according to your loving kindness.
160 The sum of your word is truth and every one of your righteous ordinances is everlasting.
161 Rulers have persecuted me without a cause, but my heart stands in awe of your words.
162 I rejoice at your word, as he who finds great spoil. 163 I hate and abhor falsehood. I love your law.
164 Seven times a day I praise you because of your righteous ordinances.
165 Those who love your law have great peace and they have no occasion of stumbling. 166 I have hoped for your salvation, O Jehovah and have done your commandments. 167 My soul has observed your testimonies and I love them exceedingly. 168 I have observed your precepts and your testimonies, because all my ways are before you.
169 Let my cry come near before you, O Jehovah. Give me understanding according to your word. 170 Let my supplication come before you. Deliver me according to your word. 171 Let my lips pour out praise, because you teach me your statutes. 172 Let my tongue sing of your word, because all your commandments are righteousness. 173 Let your hand be ready to help me, because I have chosen your precepts.
174 I have longed for your salvation, O Jehovah and your law is my delight. 175 Let my soul live and it will praise you. And let your ordinances help me. 176 I have gone astray like a lost sheep. Seek your servant, because I do not forget your commandments.

1 Kings 3:6

6 And Solomon said, You have shown to your servant David my father great loving kindness, just-as he walked before you in truth and in righteousness and in uprightness of heart with you. And you have kept for him this great loving kindness, that you have given him a son to sit on his throne as it is this day.

Job 33:3

3 My words will utter the uprightness of my heart and what my lips know they will speak sincerely.

Isaiah 33:15

15 He who walks righteously and speaks in uprightness. He who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes away his hands from taking a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of blood and shuts his eyes from looking upon evil.

2 Timothy 2:15

15 Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, an unashamed worker, cutting-straight the word of truth.

Isaiah 57:2

2 He enters into peace. They rest in their beds, each one who walks in his uprightness.

2 Timothy 3:1-17

1 But know this, that grievous times will be present in the last days. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, money-lovers, braggarts, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 cold-hearted, implacable, slanderers, with no self-control, untamed, not lovers of good, 4 betrayers, rash, having been puffed up, loving sensual-delights rather than loving God; 5 holding to a form of godliness, but having denied its power. Now turn yourself away from these people. 6 For out of these people are those who are sneaking into houses and capturing immature women, who have been piled up with sins and are led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never being able to come to the full knowledge of the truth. 8 Now in the manner that Jannes and Jambres stood against Moses so also, are these standing against the truth. Men having been utterly corrupted in their mind, unapproved concerning the faith. 9 But they will be progressing no more-than this. For their mindlessness will be obvious to all people, as that of those men also became.
10 But you have followed closely my teaching, my lead, my purpose, my faith, my patience, my love, my endurance, 11 my persecutions and my sufferings, such-as happened to me in Antioch, in Iconium, and in Lystra. I underwent many persecutions such-as these, and the Lord rescued me out of all of them. \ulnone\nosupersub 12 But even all who wish to live devoutly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. 13 But evil men and impostors will be progressing from bad on to worse, misleading and being misled. 14 But you, abide in the things which you have learned and were entrusted with, knowing from whom you learned them. 15 And you have known, that from a baby, the sacred Scriptures which are able to make you wise to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All Scripture is God breathed and is profitable for teaching, for conviction, for correction, for education which is in righteousness, 17 in order that the man of God may be equipped, having been utterly equipped for every good work.

Psalms 15:2

2 He who walks uprightly and works righteousness and speaks truth in his heart,

Psalms 84:11

11 Because Jehovah God is a sun and a shield. Jehovah will give favor and glory. He will withhold no good thing from those who walk uprightly.
